Zania building

A building for ORVE Group in Mérida, Yucatán in a new residential development in the suburban area of Merida.

The strategy consisted of proposing seven different types of apartments in no more than four levels to complete a total of 24 units.  With amenities, parking and “green area” enough for all residents and considering the requirements of the city.

The design had to strike a balance between the contemporary and the local. Taking into account the high temperatures of the Yucatan Peninsula, the design had to guarantee adequate natural ventilation and create spaces for vegetation and external circulation.
